AMENDS:

I've been staying sane these past two weeks by apologising for past hurts (and there have been a lot) and for when I'm wrong in my present life. Honesty with yourself leads to honesty with other people, and its a VERY liberating feeling.

  1. Too horrible to think about. I was going to ask if you made a list, started to think about my list made me whoozy.

  2. Luckily, or unluckily, I have kept the people in my life to a minimum. After leaving school, university, each job I end relationships and friendships, so the people in my life are few and far between, so I only had to apologise to my family and a handful of friends. The most difficult to write was actually the letter to my previous employers. Your family and your friends love you and are SO ready to see you better that they react (in general - I had one nasty exception) very well to a making of amends. All I can say is, it's worth it. And it's not for them. It's for you.
